"I want to do it without regret"…Kim Dobbin's feeling right now. At this moment

Even under the scorching sun, there was no shaking. He threw his ball firmly. His tanned skin seems to tell the amount of training he has been doing. He may be exhausted, but nowhere else can he feel tired. This moment is important just because he is playing baseball. He is Kim Do-bin from Hanwha Eagles who completed his first spring camp. "This time will never come again. Rather than setting a goal to do anything, I wanted to do my best unconditionally. I wanted to do it without any regrets," Kim said.안전놀이터

Many people dream of becoming a baseball player, but not everyone can achieve it. Kim also had to experience numerous setbacks before coming to the event. He failed to produce any remarkable results when he was a student. He failed in the rookie draft. After graduating from Gangneung Yeongdong University, he let go of the baseball. He not only worked part-time jobs but also got a job at LG Electronics. The further he got away from baseball, the more he grew longing for it. He joined an independent team (Suwon Fine Eagles) and dreamed of becoming a baseball player again. He joined the Hanwha Eagles as a pro-baseball player last year.

The opportunity came sooner than I thought. It was the match against Cheongju NC Dinosaurs on Aug. 21 last year. He took the mound as a surprise starter. His debut match in the first division, which he had been waiting for so long, was hardly full. He bowed his head by allowing one hit, three walks, one strikeout and two runs during the first ⅓ innings. He was regrettable that he could not throw his ball regardless of the outcome. He showed a big difference from his performance in the Futures League. "I think I had a lot of mental weakness. Even though I am doing well, I feel like I am not doing well," Kim said calmly.

He created an inflection point on his own. He repeatedly researched. He sought out videos of outstanding pitchers and tried to apply them to himself. "With the left axis closed, I relaxed and threw with a natural twist by using my lower body. I felt like I was throwing hard even if I didn't use much effort," Kim said. He also proactively sought advice from people around him. Foreign pitcher Ryan Weiss is a good example. "He told me that the hand with the glove is the handle and the brake, and the right hand that throws the ball is the Excel. It was very simple when I came to think of it. I left my left arm on the way and swung with my right arm fast, which improved my ball control," Kim said.

It seems that the light is gradually shining. The team garnered great attention at the Hanwha spring camp. In five practice games, Kim took the mound and recorded one hit, no outs, and no outs during six ⅓ innings. "I gained a lot of confidence. Still, I try not to be comfortable," Kim said. "I think I have come all the way here. I try not to get complacent." "I think I should do well at trial games and in the regular league. I try to throw the ball in a good mood as if it is one of 365 days, not to hit my body."
